Big Blue
130 members strong,
including 112 musicians and 18 Color Guard members, the Ramsey High
School Big Blue Marching Band has held the EMBA 1988, 1989, and 1993
Championships, and have earned some fifty competitive wins in the last
decade. They have held the title of EMBA New Jersey Champions from 1987
to present. Ramsey has also earned Superior Rating for marching, concert,
jazz, and indoor color guard for the last eight years, and in 1993 was
selected to perform in the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Most
recently, they earned the 1998 BOA Eastern Regional Class A Championship,
and performed at a Giants NFL half-time. The band prides itself on its
high level of dedication and unique and innovative performances.
